Programs & Booking
The museum offers free self-guided tours for school groups, providing students with the opportunity to explore our collections at their own pace while engaging with key themes relevant to their stage of learning. Designed to be flexible and accessible, these visits support teachers in delivering meaningful, place-based learning experiences within a museum setting.
To support your visit, schools are encouraged to use our Self‑Guided School Tour Pack, which includes curriculum-aligned prompts, activities, and guidance to help structure your group’s experience and deepen student engagement before, during, and after their visit.
Due to the museum’s compact size and emergency management requirements, we are unable to accommodate more than 60 students per session. This limit ensures the safety and comfort of all visitors and allows school groups to move through the space responsibly.

Schools seeking a facilitated, curriculum‑linked excursion experience can explore paid education programs offered by Sydney Learning Adventures, which provides guided programs across a range of Sydney cultural sites.
